I am an accidental key collector. I started collecting railroad hardware in general. I usually buy locks and keys that appeal to me with no specific focus. However, I do have an appreciation for the rare and would not walk away from an opportunity to acquire a rare key if by circumstance it becomes available. I do enjoy the research that follows after a rare acquisition.
