Lexington, Kentucky USA Collecting 35 years Kentucky shortlines, items manufactured by the George B. Bahr Company in Louisville, Kentucky.
My focus is on the Richmond, Nicholasville, Irvine & Beattyville Railroad in central Kentucky, and all of the other lines associated with the Monon's incursion into Kentucky in the 1880s. I grew up along the CNO&TP mainline near High Bridge, Kentucky, and hiked the RNI&B roadbed with my father.
